* Consecutive train detection track circuits are installed for block sections inside station yards to automatically ensure blocking.

This system is also known as the electronic block system. It incorporates electronic technology and requires relatively little investment. This system is used to modernize local branch lines which have both little traffic demand and a large number of unattended stations, so the train route is set by the driver.
The functions of this system and the duties of the driver are as follows.
* Consecutive train detection track circuits are installed for block sections inside station yards to automatically ensure blocking.
* Track circuits are not installed between stations, and train entry and exit are detected by two track circuits inside the station yard.
* When the driver presses the departure request button on the car radio, the departure route is automatically controlled by sending a identification code to the station equipment and comparing this code with the adjacent station to set the traffic direction.
* The train exits the station and after a certain amount of time has passed, the entry route for the adjacent station is automatically controlled. Passing trains are judged by their train identification signal, and the entry route is controlled after controlling the departure route.
* Signals automatically recover when the train enters the corresponding block section.
* When the train arrives at the adjacent station, the station device automatically communicates with the car radio to verify the identification code and unlock the traffic direction.
* Train departure can be temporarily stopped by pressing the cancel button on the car radio to unlock the set traffic direction.
* Spring point machine can also be used as shunts inside station yards.
